My career started with a unique work experience at KLVX, the PBS affiliate in Las Vegas, Nevada. I started as a studio cameraman, and advanced to becoming a sound man on film documentaries, learning the craft of cinematography from passionate young storytellers working on non-commercial projects.

Other Highlights:

Started a production company in Las Vegas, producing commercials and on air promotions, including winning the  BPME Gold Medallion awarded to KTNV for their “13 Territory” campaign.

Contributed to HBO Boxing and documentaries as a DP on dozens of location profiles throughout the Sugar Ray Leonard / Mike Tyson eras. Directed many profiles that where longer than the Tyson fights that they introduced!

Sports profile work continued with NBC Olympics, including the “Olympics Moments” series for the Games.

Joined “In Living Color” as a segment Director for their location shoots, which also lead to an affiliation with “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” I have been a segment Director on The Tonight Show since 1994.

Along the way, I have gathered a number of Emmy Awards in the Primetime, Daytime and Sports Categories

I continue on a path of learning and experience in the fields of Sport, Comedy and Entertainment production.
